The prestigious list, published annually is all about putting Britain’s most attractive and effective employers in the spotlight. Organisations are judged on a variety of factors, including workplace engagement initiatives, staff well-being and perks, and company culture and values.

How has the Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work for List been compiled?
The Best Companies Survey comprises of 70 statements for employees to score from ‘strongly agree’ to ‘strongly disagree’ on a seven-point scale. These then fall into seven categories, which are: Leadership, Well being, My Manager, My Team, Fair Deal, Giving Something Back, My Company and Personal Growth.
The list then analyses the replies to questionnaires asking employees how happy they are with all areas of their working life.

The top results from the survey show us that Safety Media employees had plenty of positive things to say about their job…
» 94% of employees felt positive about My Company
» 90% of employees felt positive about Leadership
» 88% of employees felt positive about My Team
There has also been a 20% increase in Leadership and a 15% increase in Giving Something Back from last year’s survey after which Safety Media was noted as “One to Watch” in the 2017 list.
HR Manager, Helene Simmons has launched a follow up survey following on from the results and added the following comment:
